If I were a teacher I would use the Excel tool for multiple purposes. Excel could be used to layout class assignment due dates, calculate student grades for tests/assignments, take attendance and much more. For example, if I were teaching 2nd grade English I would use excel to make a spreadsheet to lay out the grammar, writing, and other assignments that students would be responsible for knowing the details of.
